George Clooney Is Married! Says "I Do" to Amal Alamuddin in Venice, Italy

It's official! Hollywood's favorite bachelor George Clooney is a married man!
Clooney's rep confirms to Us Weekly that the actor and his love Amal Alamuddin exchanged vows in the luxurious, seven star Aman Canal Grande hotel in Venice, Italy on Saturday, September 27.

The happy couple were joined for their celebrations by their family and friends, including Matt Damon, his wife Luciana Barroso, Vogue's Anna Wintour, Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford, Bill Murray, Bono, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.
Rome's former mayor, Walter Veltroni, a personal friend of Clooney's, conducted the ceremony in the stunning 16th Century hotel, which only opened a year ago and has the ambience of a private palazzo.

The couple's florists, Munaretto, have been working hard for the past few days, transforming the stunning building into a romantic wedding venue.

World Leaders Gather For Nuclear Security Summit 2014

President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday in Benin said  the country had reduced its poverty rate by 50 percent.
Jonathan said this while speaking at the South South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) political rally in Benin, tagged “Unity Mega Rally.”
He said that the PDP, as a party, believed in stomach infrastructure because the party must ensure that there was food security and job creation in the country.
He noted that any leader who claimed not to believe in stomach infrastructure was not ready to lead, as “you cannot lead hungry people.’’
He described the PDP as the only stable party since its formation that had never changed its name, logo or motto, adding that it is the only party that gives its members the freedom to climb to the highest level.

Whoop, Geoffrey Oji has emerged winner of MTN Project Fame Season 7, beating five other finalists with his final performance of Asa’s song, ‘Beautiful’. 
Geoffrey, upon being declared winner, ‘has been handed a cheque of N5m, a brand new car as well as a recording contract’. 

Ruky was  first runner-up, winning a cash prize of N2m and a car  while Christian was second runner up winning N2m and a car. 
In 4th place is Clement who was also given the sum of N2m.
