Prior to the party, both Lopez and Diddy ate at Mr Chow, though it remains unclear whether they dined together. The multi-hyphenates, however, left within minutes of each other and met up later at the club to celebrate the birthday of their mutual pal, video director Jesse Terreo.

John F. Kennedy Airport in New York has become the first in the United States to begin a stepped-up screening program for possible Ebola infection.

According to Reuters, medical teams at the airport, armed with Ebola questionnaires and temperature guns, began screening travelers from three West African countries - Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone as U.S. health authorities stepped up efforts to stop the spread of the virus. Those countries have seen most of the deaths from the outbreak, which has claimed more than 4,000 lives.

Nearly all passengers traveling to the United States from those countries arrive at JFK, Newark Liberty, Washington Dulles, Chicago O'Hare and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta. The new procedures will begin at the other four airports on Thursday. Agents are screening incoming travelers for fever and other symptoms using questionnaires and infrared, non-contact thermometers. Nimota Fatokun, a 43-year-old trader has dragged her husband before the Customary Court in Alakuko, Lagos, over allegations of maltreatment.

She pleaded with the court to dissolve their sixteen year old marriage over these allegations.
According to Nimota, “This is the 10th year that my husband stopped giving me any allowance. I always took in each time he slept with me. He pays only a quarter of our children’s school fees, leaving me to pay the balance .At times, he would steal from my savings to give our children as feeding allowance. My husband is wicked to us. On different occasions when I went into labour, he would not provide the medical bills.
“He doesn’t seek my advice before taking any decision. He thinks I am not intelligent. My husband keeps lamenting that the landlord will show up soon, but I later got to know that he is the owner of the house through a neighbour.  As a result, I sold the shop he bought for me at a ridiculous amount because he wasn’t

Obinna Akukwe: Anita Oyakhilome endured fifteen years of an adultreous husband, this is in her defence

Written by Obinna Akukwe
Anita Oyakhilome, the frustrated wife of Nigeria’s most flamboyant preacher, Chris Oyakhilome has obviously passed through 15 years of adulterous endurance and what she needs is our prayers and protective respect and defence of her choices to forget all the anti-rhapsody of heartbreak she endured all these years.
Fifteen (15) years of being abandoned by a preacher husband is not an easy way of life for a preacher’s wife. Fifteen (15) years of hearing that some mini skirted daughters of Jezebel have taken over your possession is not a joke. Fifteen years of a husband not staying with the wife for up to a week on a stretch, while spending time with some double breasted figure eight(ed) daughters of eve is not an easy thing to swallow. 15 years of being used as a showcase to make church members believe in Rhapsodies of Blissful Union, while dying in silence, is not a palatable experience for any woman.
Fifteen years of being called Mama, Mummy, and other glorified names of Senior Pastor’s wife while some domestic harems sneer at the same Mummy behind is not a sweet experience. For goodness sake, this woman never probably had a good kiss in fifteen years and yet she is being accused of carnality for crying

GRAPHIC PHOTO: Another Deadly Virus Surfaces - Marburg Haemorrhagic Fever (MHF)

With West Africa, and indeed the rest of the world, still reeling from the deaths brought about by the Ebola virus, the recent death of a Ugandan hospital technician of another deadly viral disease, Marburg Haemorrhagic Fever (MHF), has brought fresh fears, Tribune Newspaper reports.
Uganda’s Ministry of Health disclosed that a total of 99 people who had been in contact with the victim had been moved to quarantine. These contacts are being monitored for signs and symptoms of the disease after tests confirmed that the 30-year-old man who worked as a radiographer in a Kampala hospital died of the disease. The man was said to have had a headache, abdominal pains, diarrhoea and vomited blood before he died.

Marburg virus was first identified in 1967, after simultaneous outbreaks in Marburg (from which the disease takes its name) and Frankfurt both in Germany, Belgrade, Serbia and Yugoslavia. It was later traced back to monkeys imported from Uganda for laboratory work. Since then, the virus has appeared sporadically, with

Boko Haram Losing Grip And Territories

■ Deserter reveals how leadership vacuum, internal squabble, hunger, desertion by members made Adamawa military exploit possible

Indications abound that the Nigerian troops are getting upper hand against the Boko Haram sect, following the continued noticeable frictions existing among members of the gang and lack of clear, respectable chain of command hitherto existing before the killing of its leader, Abubakar Shekau, a source told Saturday Sun.

Saturday Sun authoritatively gathered that recent breakthroughs by the Nigerian troops is also informed by the demise of a prominent leader of the insurgents, after the death of Abubakar Shekau at Konduga in Borno State. It is suggested that the weakening of the sect also results from power tussle amongst those who are jostling to lead the gang. The development, which our sources said, has led to internecine squabble even among the rank and file in the Boko Haram camp.

It will be recalled that, as a result of the friction, which culminated in the fierce battle within their ranks and

In a tiny village in Hunan province, central China a man dressed in a white vest and shorts rides around the dusty streets on a rusty bicycle, shouting and ringing his bell.

I stop him and ask what he's up to. "I'm collecting hair," he says. "When I ring my bell women come out and I cut their hair. I make hair extensions."

I ask him how much he pays women for their hair. "I offer them a good price, but I need to make a profit," he says with a smile.

The streets of the village are covered in hair drying beneath the scorching sun. Some of the hair is definitely

Nigerian Female Celebs are Horrible at Choosing Men - Etcetera Writes..

Our female celebrities should admit that they are horrible at choosing their men. And as a celebrity, destroying your man publicly makes you look stupid because you are the one who chose to be with him in the first place. Most of you ladies want a perfect man because you have a natural need to want to fix something about him.
And when it fails, of course, it becomes his fault for being who he always was. Even if the guy you married was the most disgusting pig in the whole universe, you should admit that lowering your standards so severely was your choice.
Every divorce is built on those things that were created during courtship.
It is during this time that the future of a marriage is decided. If you don’t have the ability to analyse what was injected into your brain during those few critical years or months of courtship, then whatever happens in your marriage is your funeral, not ours.

How "WAEC Seized My English Results Thrice" - Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon [MUST READ]

An interview with Gbenro Adeoye of Punch Newspaper. Read below:

Did you write exams in school in these big words?
I used such words very-very freely in my exams both at the secondary school and in my university and little wonder I had the misfortune of my English results being seized intermittently in my O’ Levels.

WAEC released my results for the other subjects and withheld my English result. This happened for about three years. Twice, I passed the University Matriculation Examination but I could not proceed to the University because of my English results that were not released. At the end of the day, it was released after the third attempt.

Why do you always speak ‘big grammar’? ( The guy find trouble)
I am not really consensus ad idem with those who opine that my idiolect is advertently obfuscative. No no no, it’s just that I am in my elements when the colloquy has to do with the pax Nigeriana of our dreams and one necessarily needs to fulminate against the alcibiadian modus vivendi of our prebendal political class.
